Get my desire HD tomorrow and wondered what apps and games people recommend and where to get them from?
Have seen a good looking golf game and will get angry birds for the mrs. Dungeon hunter and Zenonia also look like pretty good rpgs for a mobile. what do you think?

did a search before posting but couldnt seem to see anything about android games. Have already looked up the battery life issues, but will be switching off most applications/sync options as soon as i have the phone up and running.

Advanced Task Killer: it turns off all apps so that they're not on all the time. Just launch an app if you want it on. It will save the phone's battery and in some cases, depending on the app, data allowance.

cheers for info. have read it is possible to get lots out the battery without a task killer by just not using the sync options in the first place. I dont use my phone for emails, facebook, tweets (whatever they are) or the internet generally. only getting this phone cos its free on my contract and the games look ok.

DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR A TASK KILLER

They are BS,

Manc80 if you dont use your phone for any of that you would be better off selling the phone on and getting yourself a cheaper one otherwise its just a massive waste!

Llama is a free equivalent to Locale which changes your phone profile based on the current cell tower it is receiving signal from - brilliant simple and effective.

TuneIn Radio - internet radio app

most of the Google apps are pretty darn good too but essentially just meander the market from your phone and you will find stuff you love (or hate...)
