Android. Definately. I bought an HD2 with Windows 6.5, and loved it... until I bought my girlfriend an HTC Desire on android... and it is far far superior.

Even just for the free aps that you can get on Android that never exist on windows... worth it alone.

Some devices you can dual boot both Windows and Android. Not sure if this is going to be a possibility with future WinMo phones though.

with a bit of tinkering you can get android 2.2 running off the sd card on your hd2 - check out xda developers for the instructions. i did it and it's great.

To be honest mate, I've seen these tweaks on XDA etc... however my phone is never away from HTC for repairs. I'm a bit nervous of software hacks as I've known people being refused repairs and made to pay for inspections etc as a result. Tempting I know, and maybe if my HD2 wasn't so prone to faults... I'd definately do it. However, I'm going for the HD Desire shortly anyway so no urgent need. Cheers :)

I am currently using android but Windows 7 mobile does look quite interesting. I would personally wait and check more reviews of the Windows phones.

not sure which to get Desire HD or Samsung galaxy S! Definately android though

I went into one of the stores and played with the galaxy s, iphone 4 and desire. From what I could see and anyone correct me if I am wrong, I couldn't get the screen to tilt on the galaxy s like it does on the other two so that kinda ruled it out for me. I don't fancy downloading itunes onto my laptop so that puts the iphone out and I was impressed with the desire so am going to wait for the desire hd then play with that and probably get it! lol I think it is personal choice. I don't necessarily want a thin small phone...just one where my fingers hit the right keys and I can at least do the basics from day one and learn about the rest. I'm going from being a Nokia user to Android and i never thought I would leave Nokia!

CoPilot Live... been using it for a year now... PERFECT. Best satnav i've ever used. (had tomtom & navman & garmin, plus all the crappy free ones).
