My son's school bans phones.
#2
my sons school has a disclaimer for this saying that they shouldnt be bought into school therefore if they are stolen they wont help, they arent allowed to put it in the safe keeping box either
#3
what phone was it.

Bet ur not even allowed phones in school so the school wont do anything about it.
#4
don't they have lockers? tell your son to nick someone else's, lol
#5
i told him as much, butt it dont mean hes less upset, or that it is unbelievable that kids steal from each other
#6
As far as I know, most school don't allow mobiles to be used within the premises. In fact most school would recommend that kids don't take one to school at all to avoid being stolen.
#7
tell ur son to beat his classmates up
#8
very sly indeed, dont like thieves

So if he took it, he needs to live with it. Let him buy another and he may take more care with this one.

Kids always have stolen from each other, and always will. Not unbelievable, but a fact.

it happened to my daughter, the school were more concerned with punishing her for having a phone rather than looking for the culprit. even though they had security cameras pointed at the door (locked i might add) where her bag was kept.
#11
was a SE 810i

school are investigating cctv and will let us know tomorrow, whoever has it is answering and putting down
[mod]#12
Thieving little toe rags. :x

Although i'm surprised they allow phones.....they are banned at all the schools round here.
#13
tis a shame loupomm, me and my mates used to bring our phones in also, only teachers which were sound and didnt grass were the pe teachers, used to take the phones for us until the end of the lesson then give them back. guess he wasnt so lucky.....nevermind, just tell him that much worse things could happen in life....im sure hes pretty upset.
#14
yeah i know its tough luck, phone was knackered anyway, cracked screen so i dont get it, hes more upset that it had credit bought with his pocket money, and a girls number on it he met at Butlins last week
#15
There banned in the schools around here too. I hope they find out whoever took it and that they are suitably punished though!
#16
well beat this - my 7 year old has his lunch bag stolen off the trolley outside his class this afternoon!!:x why on earth would you want to steal a lunch bag!!:?

Another child may have taken it home by mistake - someone has done that twice with my sons before. The 2nd time it happened it took the parents 2 days to notice and it was full of his half eaten lunch :w00t:

Possibly someone who doesnt have 3 meals a day, there are still kids out there not being
#19
It;s true, kids always steal off one another and unfortunately, sometimes it's senseless crime for the sake of it, even if they don't want it.

Schools allow phones around here but they inform all parents they're not responsible for loss or damage etc but they also don't wanna see any kids using them at any point.

yup..........I think out of the whole class maybe 4 or 5 kids dont have one........

i never know when to take things seriously on here, but 6 yr olds with mobiles :?
#23
my sons school (secondary) allows them,he even called me at work once so i could speak to a teacher to give permission for something , you can hand in to teacher during lesson so it is tough luck, he should of known better, but still disappointing for him, kids may steal from each other, but im still shocked cos as far as im aware my kids would not, if i knew they did i would not be happy
#24
hi this happened to my son phoned the phone and told them police was tracking phone and if they wanted another chance i could arrange to meet them by shops and they could give me the phone back and i wouldnt take it no further it worked (yea i was amazed to)

Personaly dont see a problem with it..but each to their own.

What does a 6 year old do with a mobile?
#26
I'm thinking about getting a mobile phone for mine (emergencies only) but if I did it would only be a ten pound Nokia for this very reason.

I know, I know!.....it means he has big.............smelly feet........right?.....damn, I was never good at guessing this stuff. lol

BTW, I seriously thought TheSaint posted your comments until I read the end and was shocked at his sense of humour.....I should of known it was you but that's what made it funnier. lol

P.S I think the second text would come out a little more something like this:

6year old girl 1
"omg did u check out tom in his vest during pe today"

6year old girl 2
"sure did!!! did u see the stains in his pants...you know what that means, right?!"

6year old girl 1
"yeah, it means his mum is either using a carp detergent or he needs to change his pants more often. lol"

Little girls are becoming so cruel these days. lol

Why would a 6 year old need a phone??

I have neices, nephews, god children etc and a child of my own, I have never heard of a kid as young as 6 having a mobile.
#33

That is awful. It angers me so much. How old is your son? Would another year group be in the same changing room?
