Annoying iPhone upgrade question!

Basically I turned 18 back in March and my contract that I am now on, was in my mums name, and I've just had it transfered over to my name.. I passed the credit check etc, and I've just been informed it will all be finalised on the next billing date, which annoyingly is the 3rd of July!!
My plan was next Thursday ( on the way down to see family, on my own) was to call in Meadowhall and upgrade to the new iPhone on orange in the apple store.
Well obviously I can't do that now as until July 3rd I am still the 3rd Party User. What I want to know is , if I took my driving licence, a bill with my mums name on, a letter from my mum and explained my situation ( and even say they could ring orange as orange did say an orange store could ring..) do you think they would accept that?

Don't embarass yourself taking a letter from your Mom. If it was me you presented with that letter i would be on the floor laughing. I recommend just waiting it's only gonna be a couple of weeks. :thumbsup:

There are 2 levels of third party access, get your mum to make sure you're on the full access level and then you can upgrade without any faffing about.

Not sure the F&F will carry through doing it in the Apple store, I'd call CS and ask next week (they know bu@@er all the moment)...

Steve, thing is, my account now seems pretty messed up.. It's going in my name as of July 3rd but any time before that my mum will need to be with me to upgrade.. When I log on online it says I'm not available for an upgrade or anything like that ( also won't let me view bills etc)..

Do you reckon it's still possible to get me made into a third party with full access?
Or have I fudged it up now :p

I wouldn't have minded if I could upgrade online, but I can't even do that now!!

Do you think it's still possible ( as for the time being I'm guessing my mum is still down as first party) to get me down as third party with upgradability access? ( lol basically full access)

Hi Steve, just spoke to Orange who say there is no type of third party account that will let me upgrade :(
Do you reckon if I call and speak to a manager they would be able to sort something out?

Edit ** Just called orange again and they say under no circumstances can I go instore and upgrade :( Annoying thing is, I can't upgrade online now either due to my account not showing my number properly as it's mid transfer' **
