Between 23 October and 31 December 2007 ebay will be increasing their fees for Photography or Toys & Games to 6.50% and 8.20%.

They have reduced the listing fee but its the FVF that they get the most revenue from. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/sell/oct2007toysphoto/

Is there no end to this companies greed? They know Christmas is the best time to sell toys and digital cameras so they decided to exploit everyone.

Bah Humbug and Big Boo to Gr e ed Bay .

Thats why so many people don't touch ebay these days, it's just not worth the hassle or fee's.

Merry Christmas though .... :santa:

Seems about right. Father in law used to sell fruit machines on there till they made it Paypoo only. Bear in mind the size of a fruit machine, personal collection only so no seller protection against the chargeback scammers. Fleabay was great, FEEbay certainly is not. Vote with your feet (finger(s)) people:thumbsup:

It's so hard to find any thing to sell on ebay for profit these days, I don't know how people do it!
I sold a few things last week that I got for free, so wasn't bothered how much they went for really, as long as I made a few quid to cover the time and effort made in listing them...20p up on one (a 4 port usb hub, worth about £8) and 15p up on the other (a strappy top, worth about £10). I am at the stage where I would rather just chuck things I got for free in the bin than waste my time eBaying them!!

used to sell as a business on ebay- not anymore......

flooded with cheap rubbish from china, excessive fees, paypal scams , chqs from nigeria etc etc etc... avoid ebay!!

people selling such will get better prices at this time of year though - so why should ebay not take their pound of flesh?

play and amazon are worse. e.g. play take 10% and a further 6% if you want the money as cash not store credit.
