Another Paypal Con

About 5 weeks ago I purchased a service from Parcel2go.com, this was a 2 day delivery service which cost approx £7.50. I paid by Paypal and thought that was that. Nearly 5 weeks later my item still has not been delivered and Parcel2go have not got a clue where it is.
Now thinking that paypal will protect me as the buyer I opened a dispute thinking they would take my side and refund my £7.50. Any one using Ebay will know that if you post an item and it gets lost, unless you can prove delivery you will lose the case and your money.
So I have paid for a service that Parcel2go clearly have not provided.

Guess what Paypal have deided that they have found in favour of Parcel2go.
I wonder why ????????
Parcel2go just ignore my requests for a refund.
Absolutely unbelievable.

outside of ebay you have no protection with paypal.
why has it taken you 5 weeks to make a claim with parcel2go??
your dispute is now with them, have they said if they even collected the item?
#2
The dispute was opened a while ago. They have acknowledged receipt of the item but they will not give
a refund.
This is all seperate to my claim for the actual loss of the item.

Their Buyer purchase protection policy clearly states "If you buy something that never arrives, or if it arrives significantly different than described, you're eligible for a full refund"
Now surely that covers this, because they have provided a service which was significantly different than described.
It doesn't mention anywhere this only applies to ebay.

write them a formal letter of complaint, stating the facts, send copies of any invoices, tracking numbers , state you will allow them 14 days to conduct their investigation, then seek legal advice
send it via recorded delivery , this normally scares smaller companies into action .
hope you get it sorted
Paypal said themselves about a year or so ago on watchdog they will only offer full cover on ebay, so if you order something from say woolworths and it doesnt arrive paypal wont refund, its up to the store/website to refund any/all losses.
paypal stink theres no doubt about it

what have parcel2go said has happened to you parcel??

I'm sure you are protected not only by paypal but also your parcel should be insured in case of lost or damage, read their t&c, what courier you were using?

If it was DHL it will probably turn up eventually. I sent a parcel to Boston, Lincs (from Nottingham, 50 miles) and it went missing for 9 weeks. It had a non delivery sticker on from the DHL sorting office Boston Massachusetts and they tried to charge me a import handeling fee! Then they sent me a letter asking for their money back (as I had claimed for loss and they had paid) but wanted to charge me a £10 admin fee!
