Thinking of buying an Iphone 3gs from Cex - been told that this has been jailbroken and i am wondering if this is an issue - re updates. Can they be unjailbroken then unlocked officially from the original provider.

Thanks

can be unjailbroke pretty easy
just plug into itunes and update

but the new firmware 3.1.3 means you cant jailbreak and unlock it again

depends who the provider was

i know o2 unlock them for free for pay monthly and £15 for pay and go

+1 - my only reason for asking same is that when i was looking to buy, CEX were very expensive so you may/will be able to buy off here or other forums from a reputable member.
