Anti Theft Device for PS/3? - Does anyone know of any suggestions?

Having had one stolen last week , I am really keen to find a solution to stop the same thing happening to it's eventual replacement.

I was thinking of perhaps an external metal casing, like those you see in Game etc?

Any other solutions out there? - I wont be buying another one until I know how to secure it first...

Thanks for your help.

How was it stolen? Maybe you should consider better security on your house instead of just the ps3 >_>

You shouldn't leave it chained up outside your house - you're asking for trouble.................

Get a house alarm fitted, Use it both whilst you are out, and also at night, with the upstairs PIR's disabled

Sorry for the delay - our house was burgled - they wrenched the door open with a crowbar in broad daylight. The unit was in our front room underneath the wall mounted tv.

You never know they might get bored of it and return it.

Cheeky geets, get one of those security alarms that goes off when anything is taken past the sensors.

Take anything else, or is it just that the PS3 is the most important ?

You would think that Sony would if you proved you paid for it and got a crime note from Police to show Sony it's been stolen, would if you provide them with serial number etc they could then Blacklist the MAC Addresses or keep tabs on the stolen Ps3 Via online activity and inform Police of IP address associated with PSN activity etc and then for police to chase it up with ISP to get details of person in receipt of stolen property . Or Sony to bar it from online VIA MAC ,so at least it's a little more useless/ worthless to sell on black market
