My sister bought a TV (32" Grundig) from cash generator (a cex/cash converters type shop) for £300
The TV is faulty so I took it back for her today and asked for a refund, the guy said he would check it for faults and as long as it's faulty he will call me by the end of the day to sort it out.
He rings me back to say he agrees it's faulty and they will repair it and it should be ready by Friday!
I say no, its ok I'll just have a refund.
He says we don't do refunds as all the items we sell are graded.
I say I'm on my way.
He says we are closed, come in tomorrow but you won't get a refund.
Anyone know the legal stance on this and care to comment?
She bought the TV a week ago and paid cash.
