Hello,

Ok so I have this insect killer which uses 18w fluorescent bulbs (two), however it shows a very very dim glow. When I take one of the starters out it, one is lit up (obviously), brighter but still quite dim. On the Ballast it says 2x18w, however this is a little strange because it only has two connections (live and neutral). I havent checked if its configured in parallel or series but I assume its in parallel because if I take one starter away it the other still works..!

So im here looking for a replacement ballast and thinking can I use a 1x36w?

Also where can one find one of these either online or at the shops?

Thanks for reading, help much appreciated!
