I been burping continously all day except when im sleeping for the past 2-3weeks. Last night I just felt worse when i went to bed my stomach feel bloated and my throat so uncomfortable because of the air not coming up my mouth but stuck in my throat, I had to force it out. Been forcing air out of my mouth all day and week. Going to the GP later. I am a bit worried now because it could be something drastic. hmmmmmmmm sigh

ok, its prob a bit of anxiety, have your recently become stressed about anything at work / home etc?

It can sound a bit odd but if you are feeeling a bit anxious / stressed you sometimes dont realise that you are not controlling your breathing properly and therefore swallowing excess of oxygen which can obviously cause burping.

Why not use NHS direct - you can check your symptoms online or phone them for advice: www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/

If NHS24 really did suggest stomach cancer then you should make a complaint. Their job is to point you in the right direction to get the right care from the right people. They are not allowed to make a diagnosis like over the phone, how would they know without testing you. The call will have been recorded and would lead to their dismissal.

I trust they used the self help guide...if not then totally agree.

Probably the self help guide they went to, personally I have found NHS direct useless. Their answer to everything is 'you need to go and see you doctor' once you have been on the phone for 20 minutes.

go to a chinese herbal shop, one that does accupuncture and stuff, get hold of some Fei Yan Tea..
that'l clear ur bloatiness, and sort out all gas exchange aswell. mix it wiv some honey for sweetner and no milk n it works a treat. should cost ya about 15quid for about 2 boxes. but dont buy it off the net, such as ebay..

Why pork / lamb / fish / beef?

That can be an important part of any diet!

sounds like you may have been fobbed off!
