What do I do???

I am totally inexpierenced at all this share dealing lark, only bought them because it was a opportunity not to be missed....

So ere goes..

All together I have about 25000 shares......

I have £15000 worth which cost me a £1 each, and £5000 worth which cost me less than 50p a share.... All told my average is about 83p.

Now what I am thinking is if the current share price reaches a £1 again, should I sell my shares which I paid £1 for???

My thinking is,(this is were I need your advice), when the new shares are issued, the share price will drop quite a bit, so then i would buy back in at a lower price and get more shares for the same money, and also bring my average down....

Now more questions....sorry!!!

At what date could I sell these shares and they will still be legdibkle for the rights issue???

Do you think the current sp will hit the £1 mark before the rights issue??

I did buy these shares as a longish investment (maybe a couple of years) but is this the right opportunity to bring my average down without losing out in this right issue???

I realise any decision I make is my own decision, but any help or comments would be greatly appreciated....

I know there is some good people on this site, and you have some good points regarding share issues...

I hope what I write makes sense to you guys.....

Thanks in advance

You didnt say what company its in.

I trade shares every day and the best advice i can give is either manage your investments yourself and make your own decisions or pay a financial advisor.
I perosnally make my own choices so if anything goes wrong them Im to blame lol :)

Pennyshares are a big gamble imo...

to be honest it sounds like the OP has just typed his homework up, there was no mention of the terms of the rights issue so its pretty difficult to give the best advice in this situation.

Use the internet there is a world of resources out there

Although this is for trading currency is has a lot of info. and can be applied to investing in stocks

BTW penny stocks are penny stocks for the reason that they are very risky
