Tried a few programs already and they only seem to burn them onto disc as a file, which i can only get to work if i play it through my Xbox...DVD players wont play it.

So...looking for a free program that will change the AVI into an actual DVD file on the disc, so playable on any DVD player?

The ones that came installed on my PC seem to block it from happening, because its a torrent file.

I tried three or four different programmes recently to burn avi files and the easiest I found and it seems to work everytime is windows dvd maker. Didn't manage to get even close to getting a dvd form the others for one reason or another that I never could really work out

tried most of them. convertxtodvd is by far the best and quickest. My PC converts a 2 hour 1GB film in 15 minutes!

I've used total video2dvd - trial version. There is a small watermark but it's at the top right hand side unlike other free versions that plaster it accross the middle of the screen! I could cope with it and my 4 and 8 yr olds didn't complain!
