I planted veg for first time this year and its been FANTASTIC!!!!!

I had no experience or anyone to ask so relied on the net. I have had over 300 potatoes and tons of peas, beans, carrots, lettuce, onions and spring onions!

I planted more potatoes at beginning of August which will be ready for Christmas................

I am not sure though if u can plant potatoes now but if someone on here cant give u any advice then just google for info as never let me down

My potatoes were just gorgeous - to just step out my back door pull some up then just run them under tap - was amazing and I cant wait for next year

Good luck!

p.s I planted my potatoes in May and it took till end of August for the first of them to be ready - its a slow process but so worth it......

I planted potatoes in the ground, but also in pots, an old wheelbarrow also produced around 50 potatoes!

depends what you want to use the potatoes for

For potatoes I'd suggest the growbag method, means you can plant them year on year, get excellent crops and have plenty of compost for the rest of the garden afterwards!
