Old dog called Shenka (shortened to Shenk) not the best name if you don't know the Michael Shenka Group...

Mine always have done, even for hamsters and rabbits. It's hilarious, you just never hear it anywhere else. You don't even think it.

Yep, is quite funny becuase our rabbit is called Leland (pronounced Leeland) and nothing goes with Leland, you should she the other peoples faces when they call out 'Leland Johnston'

Yes they do lol - I was at vets last week and the receptionist came out and shouted "Sooky McDonald" lol we all laughed but poor guy was embarrassed!

I think the best names are given to pets you know....I have a 2 week time limit with pets....they have no official name for the 2 weeks :oops:
Then when it gets to the end of 14 days I have a name that fits the pet perfectly :) I usually find the animal has quirks that helps people name them something completely different...at the moment one of my pets is a guineapig with a rosette on his head...and he squeeked a LOT,,,and was very skatty (scared and jumpy) so I named him Squiffy, a cross between squeek, quiff (for the hair) and skatty :) its different and fits him
