I've heard alot of things about Dyson's breaking down. Henry sounds like a good reliable brand, I used to use one when I was younger.

LOVE my electrolux petlover. seriously. filters are dead easy to clean, and mine picks up like new even after a year.

Should add, mine is the velocity 1900w

We have an electrolux petlover.. and it's great, but sometimes will overheat and switch off from time to time.. but usually only if you're vacuuming for more than 30 mins at a time, which most times it isn't to be fair, unless we have to move all the furniture and so on to give a "spring clean" type job.
But I have also heard that henry hoover is one of the best if not "the" best... and will probably be our next purchase if/when this one breaks down.

henry all the way or hetty its bag all the way for me spent a small fortune on dysons over the years henry can be picked up for around £75 nowadays and beats dyson hands down

dyson dude was very shrewd letting us see what the dyson picked up

but if we opened up any vacuum bag we would have seen the same

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but any suggestions on where to buy hoover bags? Had a dyson for as long as I can remember and just been given a hoover with bag, but the places that used to sell them (back when we last used them) dont seem to anymore

tesco, asda, poundstretcher, or a local hardware shop or electrical shop.

Dyson definitley, none are as good in my experience. I got one that came with millions of tools and use it for everything  xx
