Damnome is saying you should pray....

I am saying did you get any contact details and verify them before you sent money to the person? You would have to be a bit silly to buy from someone over Gumtree without even speaking to them, slightly different on a forum but anyone can post on gumtree anything they like.

ok now i will forward you loads of emails in which you would had won million but the problem is you have to pay the postal fee so the million pounds could be transfer to you, will you be nice enough to pay them as well?

If you paid by Paypal can't you open up a dispute under the Resolution tab like you can if you use Paypal having purchased through Paypal?
#7
Paypal Gift or normal Paypal?

If normal Paypal open a dispute, they will then try and recover the funds from their Paypal account, if they haven't already emptied it.

if you get stuck and cant recover the funds maybe get the pp address and send them an email pretending to be a internet crime stopers, saying they must send back the monies or the search to track you will continue and we're tracking your ip adress and at the end say ps if needs be we will find you and we will kill you

paypal do not cover gumtree stuff.. or any other stuff bought on forums using paypal, whether its paid via gift or fee method. i sold sommat on gumtree and wanted paypal so called em up to run some things over and thats when they confirmed this. they will only offer protection if its an ebay purchase or a purchase from an 'official' website- not one thats a third party one..

my buyer paid me via bt- all £415.00- but we spoke on the phone etc- and i'm sure i probably did more research on her thn she did on me.

sorry you got stung o.p
