goto:-

http://www.ccleaner.com/ install and run, then restart.

then goto:-

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and run the free check they have, it looks for trojans, malware, spyware, adaware, viruses, trackers etc.

The first bit should clean all the rubbish on your system and the antivirus checkup might find something you didnt know you had! REMEMBER, always create a system restore point before doing this. Hope it helps.

PS. I use a program called Tune-up utilities 2007 for my system keeps it nice and tidy and is very user friendly, look it up.

A process of elimination will cure this problem for you no doubt (as in by the time you have recevied a few answers from here and other sites you will know what to do)

Look at your 'pop up blocker' (sometimes incorporated in toolbars) look at you anti virus stopping you from accessing certain sites, also look at your settings....

If all this sounds way too technical - one way you may be able to get a clearer answer is to quite litterally put into Google what the problem is you are haveing, and you will more than probably find a site that has got just the step by step guide you are looking for on it... There a re lots of self help sites for this type of problem...And believe me I feel for you becoz it can be soooo frustrating.:santa:

Sorry this isn't specific, but I am sure you will yield results this way....

Strangely enough I nearly posted about this the other day but thought it was just me. XPSP2 running IE6. The new browser window opens but freezes also it completely disables the right click window (nothing happens AT ALL). ONLY happens if I have HUKD open in a browser window and it's not spy/malware related. As soon as I close the HUKD window the problem vanishes :? I'm guessing there must be something in the coding causing some sort of problem (overflow?) in IE/Windows shell.

Also as an experiment (if you're not running it already) install Firefox and see if you're getting the same behaviour.

Try this:

In your browser goto Tools, Internet Options and delete your cookie, files and offline content
Goto the Security tab and set the levels to default levels
Then close your browser
Click on Start, and then Run, then type the following commands and press ok. (After you run each command, a small window should appear stating that the command was successful).
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll (if that doesn't work, try shdoc401.dll)
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
Now open your browser and try it
Hope that works for ya :)
