yesterday a noise started, when i release the accelerator a rattling noise appears,
my ex husband who is a mechanic has had a look and a drive and he said its either the bearing or drive shaft. he said its safe to drive but the noise will get worse then i will need to replace theese. he said it will be okay for a few days or weeks.
i cant afford to replace theese till next week and i need my car for work.
then my dad said i shouldnt be driving it at all.
so i just wanted someone elses opinion, is it safe to drive for another week?

I had exactly the same problem about two months ago. Get him to check the heat reflector plates on the catalytic convertor before doing anything too drastic. These had become loose on mine and so I tied them back with wire. Might not be this, but worth a check.

Other possibilities : Water pump, PS pump or Alternator bearings, could also be a timing belt tensioner getting ready to let go/loose. Tbh it could be anything. Never heard a wheel bearing 'rattle' though and knackered driveshafts tend to vibrate.

sounds to me like the exhaust is loose, have a look under the bonnet of the car ( not running ) and give the exhaust a wobble with your hand and do the same at the back and see if you can hear a slight tap tap as it moves and while the bonnet is up after you have checked the exhaust start the engine and see if you can hear the rattle more clearly and where from as you didnt give us a clue at to where the sound is coming from, Bearings grind if they have gone and drive shafts vibrate like the washing machine on a spin cycle if they go, a rattle is usually an indication of something loose the exhaust seems to be the prime suspect, if it is just tighten the bolts. hope this has helped
