Any Mobile Broadband Customers out there...

...could you please give me your good/bad thoughts on Mobile Broadband from Virgin / T-Mobile / Orange.

I have tried Mobile Broadband from Three and it is soooooo slooooooow!
Planning to send it back. I am weighing up the following three options (all with 3GB monthly limits on 18 month contracts):

Virgin £15pm, £60 Quidco, 4/5 Coverage
T-Mobile £15pm, £73 Quidco, 4/5 Coverage
Orange £14.68pm, £70 Quidco, 5/5 Coverage

I'm tempted to go for Orange as their coverage claims to be 5/5 for 2G and 3G for my area, but have read on here that they have terrible customer services when things go wrong.

Would welcome any feedback, many thanks.

just get yourself a iphone PAYG sim ON 02 ,3.6Mbps speeds , completely free access for 12 months , no top-up required at all...get an unlocked dongle from 3 or a an original 02 dongle to pop sim in ,
1GB limit but have gone over 2GB on the odd occasion. works a treat!

Where can you get this sim from, an O2 shop?

a number of ways
1) either from the corner shop unlockers who buy the iphone PAYG "wholesale" from 02 or the apple store ,then "unlock" them to sell on as an "open" phone with a £50 markup. They almost never include the PAYG SIm when selling on as the person buying the phone is very likely to be sticking a competitor sim in there.. why else didn't they go to the apple store or o2 themselves in the first place? Anyway you need to make sure the SIM packet has the iphone photo on it to take the hassle out of getting it to work ,packet should look like below

2) alternatively just root around eb*y & buy off there , can be more expensive

3) if you're brazen enough to walk into an O2 store to buy a replacement SIM for your Iphone , that sometimes works too

4) finally you can phone O2 to request addition of the free12 month web bolt on to any old O2 SIM, you do have too be prepared to prove the sim is actually already installed in an iphone

Thanks for the suggestion, but the O2 coverage here is meant to be non existent.

Well then I'd suggest 3 network but they're the very folks you're try to divest yourself of.
Not as cheap as the Iphone trick but if you apply a £10 top up to a normal 3 SiM installed in a 3 HANDSET ,
you can then just go into the menu system & add £ 5 broadband for 30 days
effectively doubling your internet access i.e. spreading £10 over 60 days.
The remaining £5 sits there ready to be used after 30 days
Take the SIM out & pop it into a 3 dongle or any unlocked dongle & surf along @ £5 a month.
You also get free Skype talk . some dongles support ordinary mobile phone voice calls from laptops
..Huawei E169 Dongle I think.

Alas You do not have 3 or O2 coverage

...not to hijack your thread , would anyone know of a cheap(reasonably) colour laser scanner printer with a small footprint , fax capability would be a bonus.
Thanks

Orange is pretty slow too. I have that one and takes ages to do the simplest of things.
