Does anyone know of any decent car park near the arena that won't break the bank for parking between 11am and about 11pm?

Cheers

Opposite collyhurst police station on rochdale road very cheap.

You can walk into centre from there.

I will try to find some more information for you.

Theres one over the road from the entrance to the actual men-arena carpark. Where the brewery used to be.

It's £5 all day. Secure, with patrolling security. Not one of those ***** car parks.

Always packed out, but should be a space.

There is a few NCP car parks next to M.E.N and a few further away. The ones close by are more expensive than the ones further away. There are a few others, 1 directly opposite the M.E.N arena and 1 opposite the CIS building, which are both on Trinity street and these are a bit cheaper. If you want you could park for free u could park in a residential area on the outskirts of town centre and hop on the bus but I wouldnt recommend it, There are a few free places to park in town but I wouldnt disclose on here lol
Try the NCP wesbite and should give you an idea. I used to park at the printworks and think it was around £12-15 for 12+ hours, but not defo sure as it was paid for by work
Have a great time :thumbsup::)

We parked in the multi storey at the MEN. However getting out was a bit of a nightmare so either park early near the exit or just sit in the car. We said if we went again we would have a coffee and not rush back to the car. Think it cleared in about 30 mins.

We normally park at the arena but cus missus is determined to break the bank it would be a v. expensive sesh.

Thanks treble, but £12+ is business expenses territory!

rep added for everyone, thanks

have you considered breaking the bank at the trafford centre instead of in the city.........park there for a few hours for free....go shopping, then drive into the centre arrive a couple of hours early...finish off shopping and go to the arena?

that way you wont be in a charged car park as long :)

This one charges £1.50 per day, I am not sure what time it closes.

Thanks tiger, but there's a couple of places in the city we need to go to.

Like your thinking though.

just think that you could go to the 'couple of places' in the couple of hours before the concert....most main shops are at the trafford centre...anyways something to consider :)

It is opposite the A on this map, zoom out until you see the railway sign for victoria station then move the railway sign to the middle and zoom back in.

The post code of the police station is M4 4JA.

Thanks all, tool vlj's advice and used the former brewery site.

Took 10 minutes from being inside the venue to being on the road out of Manchester.

Spot on, will use again.

£3 for 14 hours parking, bargain.
