Any problems with Amazon delivering goods?

I'm soo p'd off cos I paid for 1st class delivery (even though i qualified for the free delivery) from amazon to ensure delivery for christmas and the stuff hasn't arrived. Anyone else's order not turned up?

Me too :x Have at least 15 items missing from a couple of major ordewrs made before 18/12. Will be interesting to find out what they do about it.

I had 2 packages from Amazon expected today (well 1st was expected 21st) tthat one turned up via Home Delivery network, the other delivered by royal mail never. Not impressed. They guarenteed xmas delivery too. Ordered this stuff arounf the 16th

You needed to of ordered by Friday 5pm and paid special delivery for your items to turn up today.

Mine did. You also get a tracking number, so you can check on [url]www.royalmail.co.uk[/url] where your item is if it hasnt turned up yet but has in fact been posted

I ordered from there last week promised for today Didnt think id get it so went and bought one yesterday lol, guess what it turned up. So i cant complain:)

All mine were delivered!!!

had about 5 orderes most of it cam in dribs and drabs but im not complaining all were in time for xmas.

They sent the majority of my order via HDNL howvere the largest part was sent via Royal Mail, on Friday. They sent it standard post, they guarenteed xmas delivery on all orders around about the at the start of last week

From an email I just got from them "As you have a promised delivery date on or before December 24,
please rest assured that we expect your delivery to be completed
before Christmas" they taking thr p1ss????

ordered mine on the 13th sent for collection by HDNL on the 14th not arrived, bought the same item from pcworld today at a price premium will be returning amazons when it arrives...first time i have been let down by them, not a happy bunny

why not return the unused (amazon item) to PC world and get a full refund??? Don't the ethical brigade jump on my back for that comment. It's what i would do (and I'm honest enough to admit it).

Thats not correct. They only guarenteed delivery by Christmas is you selected Roayl Mail Special Delivery (surely thats common knowledge anyway?)

I agree with that, But when I place an order on Dec 16th, and it's only despatched on the 21st they are asking for trouble. I paid the premium for express delivery.
They have admitted they are in the wrong "I'm sorry, but it appears that something may have gone awry with
the delivery of your order #026-7333589-2537147 - this package
should have reached you by now.

Normally we would send a replacement with ‘Express Delivery’ for
the lost items right away. But in this case since its very close to
the Christmas date, we cannot guarantee that this replacement order
will reach you on time.

If it’s ok, with you please, let us know and we can create a
replacement order at the earliest and If this solution will not work
for you, we can simply issue a refund for the item, along with the
associated delivery costs.

I had an email stating that my order would be sent Special Delivery to be delivered before 9am this morning, nothing arrived.

Ordered goods from France and Germany and they all arrived today. Only ordered them on the 19th well pleased with the ds lites Wii plays and wii's I ordered there. Cheap delivery as well No complains here.

they upgraded mine to special delivery got most of my goods except for a few

I ordered 11 items on the 15th. Amazon sent 5 packages via HDN and they all arrived by yesterday. Free delivery as well :)

Sounds as if the it was mainly RM stuff that was delayed

I ordered some items on the 8th Dec, got an email saying I should have got them on 17th...on the 21st emailed them as they didnt arrive & then had to get a refund a replacement order couldnt have been sent out in time. through the tracking it does look like it went through a few places and iam guessing probably a postman stole it??

umm do think I should complain ?

ive got 2 packages guarreented before xmas day delivery , havent received them. amazon at least u should amit you cant cope with the xmas rush of excess packages ! Bad service

Yeah same here, seems a lot of us have had issues with Amazon this Christmas. It's funny because I ordered from Amazon, despite the item being cheaper elsewhere..because I trusted Amazon more to deliver it to me when they said they would. That'll teach me. I'm probably going to refuse the delivery when it arrives and just order from the cheaper place (it's £10 cheaper!) because once it's late it's late, makes no odds now if it comes in a few days or a few weeks.

You never know what you miss untill it's gone.

I got all my stuff from Amazon yesterday.
I ordered on the 17th a book and a camera. I combined the order to avoid postage costs. The book got dispatched on the 21st. The camera on the 23rd. The camera got upgraded to special delivary. The camera arrived at 9:00am on Christmas Eve delievered by a van, the book then came 30 mins later delievered by the postlady. I was well chuffed, i didnt think i was going to get them. Royal Mail get completely overrun at this time of the year. They can't cope with all the extra orders.

I feel for all you people who didn't get their stuff delivered on time, if i was you i would complain and ask for a large amount of compensation like a £10 voucher.
