Any reporters out there? Teeline vs Pitman - which should I learn?

I just want to learn one of the two for my own use, as it looks quite interesting. I'd rather learn whichever is more widely used, though, in case in future other people would like to read it.

Any advice appreciated.

I never knew there was more than one.

Pitman IMO. More likely to be known by others although obviously its use has decreased considerably in recent times.

When proficient, Pitman is faster, but T line is much quicker to learn!

just had a look at teeline and it looks "nuts".
a bunch of scribbles represeting the alphabet. It looks like it skips vowels and just inputs the "sound" letters when writing words. Clever stuff but looks ultimately messy...

Teeline looks more sensible than Pitman to be honest!!

Well, this is the thing. Teeline should be faster to learn, which is good. And it can be used in other languages, but I can't write in other languages so that's not great use. On the other hand, Pitman is used in the States, and it's faster to write with. It sounds like a PITA to learn, though...
