I think it falls under "family law" in the event of selling a property.

what sort of deeds title is it, Tenants in Common or Joint Tenants? as that will have the most bearing on any legal matter

OP can you not just google the questions.I mean what chance do you have of getting a Lawyer on here that understands law in Housing.Google the question & you maybe surprised what you find.
