Hi Hannah, not seen you in ages. I hope your car boot sale went alright.
Have you tried Tea Tree products? they are good for oily skin. You can buy them at
Superdrug. Also you can buy these little blotting powder papers that you wipe across your T zone on the face. I will see if i can find you a link to them.

well people disagree about this issue, ie is it a waste of tax payers money to go to the docs for preventative medicine.... I say absolutely not, if it worries you ASK about it, even if you just call up NHS direct ( actually I can't say they've ever been helpful to me, yet! )it may SAVE money in the long run x x

if its a side effect there is nothing you can do apart from remove it

as its a side effect there isnt alot you can do to prevent it, and as it hasnt happened yet i wouldnt be worrying, i dont know anyone with an implant that has had oily skin since them having it, mediications have t list all possible side effects, doesnt mean you will get them - lol

My point is I don't class it as an important enough reason to make an appointment at a docs when appointments are hard to come by as they are:roll:

im sure you will be fine but my son uses a gel for his spots, from the doc called duac, she told him in most cases it will dry the skin out

Buy some of those make up removal wipes. The cucumber ones are best. They remove the surface grease and clean at the same time.

Herbal Aurthority Tea Tree skin wash from Holland & Barretts. Not drying on the skin but be careful of using stuff that drys your skin out as your pores will just produce more oil

I've not see any in shops for years but I used to buy Ten o Siz when teenager, and the stuff I used to buy was orange,I used it for oily acne skin and it was good then.
As suggested already something with tea tree oil in,like facial wash and cleanser, witch hazel stick is also good for soaking up oil sometimes.

Australian Bodycare do a range called Ketsugo which restores the balance of oil produced, they do a full range from washes to moisturisers and it gets great reviews from oily skin and acne sufferers. Read some reviews here http://www.ciao.co.uk/Australian_Bodycare_Ketsugo_Gel__Review_5356250

Rub cement powder in your face... I have seen it on TV watching motor racing. If oil is dropped on the track they put cement dust over it to dry it up....A great tip Hannah, hope it helps:)

I forgot so mention.... don't go out in the rain with the cement powder on your face:-D
