Dont eat or drink and pickpocket all the germans

If you need nappies take these with you. Also squash! Dont use the shop in the hotel, explore and find a cheaper one in the town. Dont book trips with the rep. Go into town and book with the local rep!

Was gonna say take a Nationwide Debit Card to take your money out of the cash machines and pay for stuff, but if you don't have one yet it's too late.

Avoid buying crap they sell in resorts would be another tip.

Buy simple food from the local supermarkets - bread, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and have picnics rather than buying meals all the time. Also get your water from the supermarket.

as above. there will be lots of new places to explore and have picnics. Also if you eat out find out where the locals eat and go off the main drag resturants.

and have a nice holiday.

We went Salou last year and nappies were stupid money, as was squash and kids need both! The euro hasnt helped. I found the prices hadnt gone up, it was just that the euro had made things more expensive!

If you or the kids eat a lot off snacks like crisps take these too. I found that fruit was expensive so you could even take some off that! Or if you are half board pinch it in the morning from the buffet!

Tenerife is actually quite reasonable. But just fallow the obvious, dont bother the hotel shop, do go to the supermarkets. etc.

Markets are cheaper for gifts and food too.

Oh, BTW you will always win on the scratch cards, do not fall for it! Or it will be the most expensive holiday you have ever had! (probably the last for the a long time)
