After my XBOX went red ring on x-mas eve i've been trying to find another way to play my HD DVD's - I have the XBOX 360 HD DVD player but can't get it to work on anything but the xbox which also doesn't work.
I've tried googling but powerdvd no longer do the hd format on their player.

I'd appreciate any advice - cheers

If you have service pack 3 then you dont need drivers, windows will recognize it on its own. currently encoding some hd dvds to mkv as i type. :)

EDIT Actually I know what you mean now, you mean windows see's it as usb device, that is not quite the same thing mate and xp does not read udf2.5/2.6 at default vista probably does.
