Anybody else on here that is supposed to be revising?

Roll on June is all I can say. I am so fed up this year. It's hard to stay motivated.

I've lost what little social life I had since starting this course 2 years ago and although I found the course interesting to start with, the lecturers this year just don't give a monkeys which hardly makes the 110 mile round trip twice a week to class worthwhile when they just read word for word off a powerpoint that they copied off the web and send you home to read 4 90 pages chapters before the next class.

If the class was a pack of semi-drunk pimple faced teenagers who gave little respect to the course or anything I could understand it but we are a class of adults working full time and making an effort to get to class on time, busting our guts for good marks and listening attentively and grrr......sorry moan over!

Just if anyone else is in the same position, keep going you're nearly there and it will all be worth it, hopefully!

I condense my notes as much as I can. Read, reread. Look at past papers and see if I can answer them with my notes.

Go through my exam notes and score out the bits which I know I understand and can practically recite whenI prompt myself with just one word, then try and memoorise as much as possible and the day before the exam I condense the notes again into the stuff I still can never remember which is about 7 pages and just rewrite my notes over and over about 10 times and then I probably know them all.

Depends on the subject of course. I'm better with logical, mathematic, scientific or computing subjects. It's the more waffle wordy stuff I have this year which is a pain!

My first one's Wednesday and I can't stay focused at all. My lecturer was very unpleasant to me the other week and I've lost all motivation. Which isn't great as they're my final 4 uni exams!

I've pmt so my focus is out the wondow for today! :(
I know the effect a horrible or useless lecturer can have on your studies, we were in meetings last week as a ful class to put in formal complaints about one of our lecturers but since I work in the university at a different campus I also know little will be done about it. You just have to put your head done and look forward to giving yourself a treat in the days after the exams and hopefully try to prove the lecturer wrong. Good luck!

I handed in my website for my course early with a bit of the functionality missing because I was so fed up with the lecturer changing his mind about what he wanted. His brief was awful due to his lack of english skills and when we asked any questions he told people different things so fingers crossed. Good luck with yours!
