Dignified and full of love, they show humanity at its best and most courageous in the face of evil.

And now we're going to air them so that companies can sell you toilet roll and razors.

nope but i am going to watch 9/11 conspiracies on discovery channel... I don't understand how new stuff keeps coming out from 9/11 like these phone calls??
#5
Not going to watch it, think it would be too heartbreaking.

Heard one of the messages the other night on the advert for it and nearly started crying.

Think its very brave of the families involved to let the programme use their recordings tho.
#6
No, too sad. Hearing people talk to there loved ones knowing they are going to die? So sad,
#7
I think trolling should be illegal on internet forums.

was just reading about this in the paper and no,I wont be watching-not ashamed to admit that it would no doubt make me sad or even cry and thats not my idea of sunday evening entertainment.

just my opinion tho-each to their own-must be a very eerie thing for the families, impossible to imagine being in a situation where you know you are certain to die and leave a message on your loved ones answering machine.

very poignant & a very moving programe. These people waved off thier loved ones in the morning & never got to see them again & hang onto the memories however small, very very sad........................

My dad passed away when i was 15, I would give anything to hear his voice again.

if you can get over the amount of ad breaks & they have had hundreds of complaints about them.
You will find it a very moving programme.

it chilled me to the core. the part where some lass videos people who are leaping rather than stay in the buildings. And the short audio clip of a fireman mentioning he sees just 2 small pockets of fire and they need 2 hoses.....and i'm obviously watching footage outside of this of the building of the huge fires you can clearly see burning.

I did watch it and I'm pleased I did, it made what happened 'real' if you know what I mean.

My kids were supposed to be in bed at that time, but I let them stay up to watch this, many questions were asked, and I hope I answered them, I'd like to think I did.

It was hard to watch and I did cry, but I'm pleased I watched it, it happened and it was awful.

It brought it home is what I'm trying to say.

When it did happen, I had just arrived in Australia, I'd only just recovered from jet lag, woke up one morning, had breakfast, put the tv on and saw the beginnings of the worst thing ever.

 I bet u did....

serious thread Stevo, your silly comments aren't needed, REPORTED

Its misc nonsense. and 9/11 was a conspiracy...many people know that....

starsparkle2311
You for real boi?

You wanted serious...am being serious...and yes.
#32
starsparkle2311
So nearly 3000 people dying is misc nonsense?

You're inciting a negative response with comments like that....you wanted serious....am being serious...and yes, the government "administration" who so allegedly claims to be the personification of democracy yet treats their own citizens with no respect, fully invades their privacy and flouts the human rights for whomever they see fit.........that sounds like a government that is capable of doing something like that which happened....YES.

Edit : who have the means, motivation and opportunity to carry out such acts may I add....and also be best placed to cover them up.

starsparkle2311
I'm not willingly inciting a negative response

Way over my head and you know that, all I know is that 2 buildings collapsed with a lot of people inside them, people died.

And what I am saying is that it was an opportunity for a government to "progress" into securing rich energy resources in the middle east as well as establishing a strategic geographical gain for its military, to line the pockets of a rogue administration and use the events of the previous decade to support their "cause".......do I think they are responsible, yes.....has anybody proved beyond a reasonable doubt that they didnt? No........in fact there is more evidence to point the finger internally....than there is to point it to a foreign source....

by all means prove me wrong.......

starsparkle2311
Okay.....................I see what you are saying, I take stock of that, my comments weren't meant to evoke something so deep, again, you know that, from a basic point of view tho' people died, or did I get that wrong? You want to start a more serious thread tho', go for it. I however have to go and wish my parents a happy wedding anniversary, which happens to be today:)

Yes, many innocent people died. I am aware of that and I watched it myself while the event was happening. I have even visited ground zero to pay my respects a couple of months after it happened.

War is never fair, and it is only the innocent who die, never the guilty.....as someone once said....its the generals who start the war....but its the sons and daughters who die in it.

:)
