Selling somthing on ebay with best offer option. Offer stated price £350 clicked accept and accepted it, go to sold items and item came up £250 sold, buyer paid straight away. Now buyers going mad saying they want the item at that price. I still have the e-mail with the £350 offer i accepted. What to do?

If it says sold at £250 thats the price you accepted
I didnt though i got an offer for £350 which i had in the e-mail, i clicked the link on the e-mail which takes you to the page where you accept or decline, i clicked accept. I still have the e-mail with the £350 offer, i never even had an offer for £250 so it's not possible i clicked and accepted the wrong one.

you wont be promoting through here lots of ppl give the id number i have in the past when looking for help/advice :)

only option is left is not to sell and take negative, but seems like its ebay's fault so they should sort it out, i would contact ebay and tell em its there fault and they should resolve it, if it dont work try explaining and give proof of what happened to the buyer, he may accept it.

when you hit the accept button did it state £350?

yes it did.

The buyer has now agreed to cancel the transaction as i forwarded the offer page to them, are they still able to leave neg feedback now the transactions cancelled?
#13
did they not want to rebuy at the proper price? i think they can still leave feedback but 100% sure hope it works out for you, or ask them about feedback?

Something doesn't add up.

Do you think it might have been miss read possibly? As the emails generated electronically.

When the buyer went through to buy it could they not have discounted it by £100, I know it lets you as I've done it before when they've offered discount on my postage.
