Anybody have a 206 cc I would like a bit of feedback.........PLZ

I am looking to buy the Peugeot 206 and would like some feedback. I have had a test drive in a 1.6 Allure and the car seems to be very nice.
I have read on some sites problems with the roof leaking, squealy breaks also very expensive to replace the e xhaust system.
The wife would really like the 206 but at the same time I would hate to spend a shed full full of money on something that is of a poor quality.
Many thanx in advance

OMG I have just sold my 206cc, not due to having problems with it, due to it being to small for my little family!
Oh it was my pride and joy, absolutely loved it! Silver, red & black leather interior, 2ltr injection engine, electric roof, oh I want another one!
The only problem I ever had with mine was the exhaust, it used to blow a bit, other than that in the 4yrs I had it, it was never in the garage apart from service MOT etc.
I can go on and on................it is individual choice but yes go for it!

Great for two people and shopping - definately can't get anyone in the back. Not comfortably anyways. I've been in the back of my friends many times and always have to drape my legs sideways - I'm about 5ft 7 so not a giant...

Would have to agree with BomChikaWahWah, we had one for 3 years and upgraded to the 306cc a year ago loved the car. We did have roof issues to start with and yes it did leak but peugeot had it back under warrenty put in new roof sealers and had no problems with it again.
Never had any other problems with it sold it on really easily for the amount it was worth.
If you have any doubts about it though go and test drive the competion we found that the peugeots build qaulity far better than anything else in its price range.
Also if buying new do some research online, when we upgraded last year we found a registered peugeot dealer on line who was based in london (had a showroom) selling them almost 2 grand cheaper, my wife haggled with the peugeot dealer down the road and they price matched with 0%apr.

Buy Japanese.

Buying a Japanese make doesn't guarantee a Japanese build.

I found out my Toyota was a French build the other day.

Could I be nosy and ask how much you sold your 206 for and what year was it?

It was an 03 plate and I got 7k for it against a new car. I think I got a good deal, I hope I did anyway!
#10
Yes I think you did.
The one I am looking at is 03 plate with 38000 miles and the garage is asking 7300.

Well if you ask me mark that is a good deal and you should seriously consider.
