Is there anyway to get around this?

Cheers!

check the security setings on the hub, you might have it set to wpa instead of wep

Just to add, you can buy a dongle to go into your PC to act as a go between.
You do have to keep your PC on though for it to work.

How do I check the settings? Is it the BT website?

According to here you router is set to WPA, which is why your DS doesn't work wirelessly.

How to change it but if you have a new laptop /pc it may not allow the security of your laptop to be as low as WEP.

could it be something to do with the wireless type?
my wifes laptop used to connect fine, then when i upgraded to new black hub, i had to change the wireless type in the config from "802.11 b/g/n" (which is set as recommended) to just "802.11 b/g"
wifes laptop then found the router no problems
