Has anybody used www.store-audio.co.uk to buy dre beats headphones?

Today i saw an advert on my facebook advertising dre beats headphones (the in-ear one) for £39. The site looks pretty legitimate but no-where does it claim they are authentic, so i was wondering if anyone has used the website previously and can comment on the headphones?

Domain: store-audio.co.uk
IP Address: 124.217.225.187
ISP: PIRADIUS NET
Region: Kuala Lumpur (MY)

The UK address registered on whois for their website (freely available public info) also matches that of

http://www.hilton.co.uk/londonparklane

Always consider doing a search on the site url, look at one of the whois type websites and scroll down to the IP info and check for contact telephone numbers (UK geographic) and addresses that tie in with records at Companies House etc before parting with any cash for your own protection

Agreed , They are just awful , if spending that much money go for some bose triports, or senheisers or perhaps some sonys.

SO is it a dodgy site ?
#7
I looked through that website and its definatly fake. The earphones are far too cheap to be real, and they are only offering a 1 year warranty, whereas the real ones come with a 3 year warranty. If you want some fake beats that are cheap go to http://www.mcbub.com

:)

Tbh there are a lot better headphones than Dre Beats, check the Denon in ear ones around £60 I think they would knock the socks off anything Dre marketing over hyping headphones.

Worth to consider about .Looks nice .

So I decided to order a pair of 'Dr Dre BEATS Tour HighResolution In Ear Headphones' using the site and at present I am still waiting for my order to be dispatched. Fortunately though I have been informed that they are currently sold out due to the sale and will be expecting a new shipment sometime early week, so hopefully I will receive my order sometime end of the week.....will keep you posted!

Look @ above comments especially sigma: http://who.is/whois/store-audio.co.uk/

also: http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.headphone-warehouse.co.uk

It is pretty clear that its a fake. The "owner" of the site lives at Park Lane Hilton, or maybe its Paris Hilton's dad, trying to break into the audiovisual market.

#19
Right, just so you all know!!

I sent store-audio an email just saying that i had read on the internet that their website was fake and that i was not happy with the 16 days without receiving the product. I said i wanted a refund because i thought the whole site was a fake and the refunded me fully within 5 minutes!

So definitely fake, although they obviously know it! So yeah avoid it

Cool story brah. Nowz they got your card details. Your refund won't be there long.......

After seeing this post I cancelled my order for Dr Dre Tour Beats. Within a matter of minutes of sending them an email I got one back to say that order cancelled and that the payment would be cancelled. I was very unsure of this webiste and even more so after seeing this post but can't fault the speed in which they replied to my email and there were no questions about it, straight refund.

Still not sure about this website but dont want to risk my very hard earned money.

but if you go onto the offical dre beats website they have a list of conterfiet selling sites, and oh you guessed it Store audio is listed their

I eventually bought some from mcbub.com, they're clearly fakes because of the price but i cant fault the quality. Amazing for £7 delivered!

So after 15 days of waiting I finally received my 'Dr Dre BEATS Tour HighResolution In Ear Headphones' in the mail. From watching video reviews on what to look out for when finding whether I had a fake pair or not, it must be said from analysing the packaging to the ear phones themselves I found it hard to split the difference. The only things that caught my attention though was the minor scratch on the inside of the ear phones. Regarding sound quality I can't compare them to a pair that was bought from a legitimate retailer, but I will be able to do that sometime in the not too distant future. From testing these ones though by listening to tracks that included 'can't hold us down' by christina aguilera, 'omen reprise' by the prodigy and 'money' by pink floyd I was impressed with its clear sound and bass quality. Overall I can't really fault them, for what I paid they are worth it.

Considering the owner of the site is based in Malaysia, the police aren't going to be able to help you. Keep pestering them for a refund and if they don't pay up, phone your bank and they might be able to help.

So it has come to my attention after reading some blogs online (still not 100% sure if this is true or not so do not quote me on this) the factory
in china that manufactures the dr dre beats line, there are some ear phones that are rejected due to minor flaws in the product or do not meet the standards that are expected; this may include faults within the sound, quality or build of the products. It may even include minor marks and scratches. From what I've read the ones that are rejected are sometimes resold at a discounted price, which may explain why these and other headphones that are being circulated online for cheap are hard to identify whether they are legit or not. If anything they could just be ear phones that have been rejected from the manufacturer and have been resold to a wholesaler :p

I dunno guys, cus i ordered a pair of Bose and Beats tours. Got the Bose and registered the warranty with no problems so seem ok.
Still waiting on the Beats tours which they say will be with me by end of the week.

bruv, I'm not the owner nore am I in associated with the website. I'm just another person giving an honest review through my experience. If the product is crap then I'll say its crap, but in this instance I can't fault it. If you don't find out and do the research yourself then how are you suppose to know.....there is no point living in ignorance.

You can e-mail at; [email protected]

Remember to state your name and reference number from the receipt you were e-mailed though alertpay. Tell them that you would like to cancel your delivery and request a full refund. They should be obliged to do so. If it happens that they don't reply after 5 days then you can report them through payalert's customer support team. Hope this helps :)
