Anybody won a competition run by futurenet/future competitions?

As above really, the company who hosts the SFX, Total Film comps etc.

I ask because I received an email from them 17th March telling me I had won a copy of Borderland in the SFX comp, sent back my address as requested but not received the prize yet. The guy said it would be sent ASAP in original email.

Have you won anything from these guys, how long so they take to send prizes? I have a feeling I aint going to get it lol!!

I won a prize with Q magazine and received an email asking for my address... I replied straight away and then heard nothing for a month.... I then started to badger them and eventually everything came. (took nearly 2 months in total though).

I sent a couple of emails since but no reply. What you said sounds a little more promising though, I expected like a month for delivery but because he said he would send ASAP...

I also have won a copy of Borderland in the SFX comp and also have not received mine yet :xprobably have to allow up to 21 days:thumbsup:

I won a set of dvds from them and they arrived almost 2 months after giving them my address lol

I know my response is not strictly to the question you were asking but it may be relevant...

I subscribed to a monthly gaming magazine published by FutureNet & was offered two "free gifts" as an incentive to do so.

Both arrived about 5 weeks later. One of the "gifts" was a Blu-ray Disc movie from a choice of two & they had sent the wrong choice.

I e-mailed & received a response after 13 days. It asked for me to send back both items so they could send back the replaced Blu-ray Disc & the other item back again.

I queried the mentality of doing this rather than just sending back the incorrect item & never got a response.

I would suggest their level of Customer Service could do with some improvement.

From the other responses it seems it is quite common to be waiting a while & that contacting them to enquire on progress prompts them into action e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-l-y.

Thanks peeps I thought it may take a while but just wanted to check others. Why would the dude not just say it will take 'blah blah amount of days' d'oh.

I won a bunch of stuff years ago in a comp for SFX...I got them all eventually but spread out over about 4 months.
