Anyone a dentist??

Went to the dentist on Thursday for a filling (It was left k9 one). The dentist was quite harsh in stabbing the freeze jab into me, have to admit it was uncomfortable compared to other time. Well my tooth is ok but where he jabbed me it's so so sore. There is a lump on my gum and it's aching. Can't even wipe my nose without being in pain!! Anyhoo I am just wondering could my gum just be bruised and swollen?? Or my last dentist was sacked as the jab needle broke off in someones gum. I might be just paranoid but I have never had so much pain from a freeze injection before and for there to be a lump..... What's everyone's thoughts?? Not sure to go back to the dentist incase they think I'm just a tube.

Cheers

My dentist has changed recently, the new one is brutal. I had a filling and I was in pain for days, I had to go back and have it redone but it is still not right. He was so heavy handed, I felt so sore afterwards, not just the tooth but my gums, jaw, face and head. I am thinking about asking for a different dentist. It must be a new breed coming through.

It's a dental issue not a dr's. Could even be an infection either way the dentist needs to see it :(

Appointment was meant to be the 1st, got changed to Thursday, they never even called me to cancel as they shut due to the weather the first time. As it's been snowing again I hope they will be open. Don't wanna suffer all Xmas :( want it to be the best Xmas as 1st Xmas with baby saxo-chick :p

Try warm salt water to rinse ur mouth with and as soon as the shops open tomorrow buy some Corsodyl gel. Also, shop around for a different dentist. Hope this helps .

op i had my filling changed on Thursday as it chipped and my dentist is as gentle as a mouse but my gum is the same as yours, little lump , sore to touch, give it a day or two and it should go down, mine is much better today, My last dentist was a bloody butcher , ruined 4 of my teeth , ruined 1 of my sons, we didnt know this at the time , when we changed our new dentist asked our old one for the last set of xrays and they sent everyone of the over, then he showed me and pointed out what the last dentist did and he shouldnt have drilled any of our teeth as there wasnt problems and my sons tooth is a milk tooth with a filling in it that didnt need to be there.
