I had to drive through it yesterday, through the centre of sheffield, only drive a peugeot 206 and the water was coming over the bonnet!
(not when stood, but when driving through it, it was coming up and over the bonnet)

Eeek, last time I drove through a big puddle when I had a little clio 02 shape the plastic guard on the bottom came off.

Hope everyone and possessions are ok up north!

Itsa not been raining in Doncaster. Hopefully it won't drift over. My village was flooded the year before last.

Our area flooded about 7 years ago.. I remember trying to drive up an embankment to bypass a flooded area.

One of the cars was completely submerged.

Oh the stupid things we do.... I saw sense, turned around where safe and went home and waited for the water to drain away some more

I had to get the boat home today. Man; it was crazy in Wiganland. Thunder and bonkers rain for about an hour. The roads wer like Venice and the sky was almost pitch black

Hi andywedge, we've had alot of rain today in Northest Eastest London. (officially there is no north east London)

We had a road closure today and vehicles submerged... I'll have to watch out on the local papers for the full story - but OMG did the rain come down.. I hadn't seen a storm that bad in 20 years. I think most of the storms recently had been in the middle of the night - so I'd missed them,.

I hope your area is ok.. I am sure ours will dry up by the morning - though the school field will be waterlogged and Sports Day will be cancelled AGAIN!
