I went a few years ago, I wasnt keen on the park itself as its a very big sprawling park and was a good walk to the main entertainment area, having said that my children were quite young and I found it difficult as a single parent to keep an eye on them due to the numbers of people on the park and its size, it does have the usual arcades and entertainment as on the other Haven parks though and there are lots of attractions nearby, I dont know if there is a themepark nearby but there are plenty of other things to do, the slate mines, snowdownia attractions, porthmadog is not far and plenty of nice beaches, not too far from a couple of castles and a big indoor playpark so there should be plenty for you to do.

Hi
we went there about 2 years ago and really enjoyed it.
we were about 5 minute walk from the entertainment which was pretty good at night an not too bad in the day for kids.
The park itself has little rides scattered around from go karts, roller skating, boating lake ,rope climbing.
the park is about a 5 minute walk to the beach depending where your staying! with great views of snowden as alex said there are loads of lovely little towns to visit nearby but you need a car .
I think things are overpriced in there though as you have to pay for all the extra activities you do like the go karting,
and the drinks in the bars at a evening are quite dear but i suppose you expect that now from a haven.
heres the beach nearby hope this helps!!

Ayr lovely? That doesnt make sense lol.

Haven Ayr is alright but not in the same league as the old Butlins days(where they had an on site funfair, free transport around camp and massive arcade complex etc)

And Sundrum is tiny and like 1 small bar and pool and often gets loud from guests having parties.

I went a few years ago, quite liked it. Having said that the rest of my family didn't, so if you're scummy like me then you'll like it, if you're a bit more classy like the rest of my family then you'll find it dirty and cheap!
