Looking to go here in a couple of months with the family, has anyone been? If so, was it any good? And anyone know of any discount vouchers or anything for it?

Cheers in advance.

Yes, its not as good as I expected but still worth the visit and we will most likely go again.

Yeah, it's alright. Quite small but you do have monkeys just roaming around!!

Not a great day out if it's raining though.

Went on a blustery day and wasn't expecting much but really enjoyed it. Nice if you can go when it's not too busy and wait for the feeding time they do a little talk. Don't rush round as it's not that big but it's nice to stroll round, have something to eat then go round again. we took loads of photos.

I prefer to park at the trentham end instead of the car park near the monkey forest. You can then catch the sit on train there and the boat back. They are extra charges for these but are good for the family. Just remember that if you are taking young ones that it is quite hilly where the monkeys are.

yeah it's ok, like others have said not that big and couldn't really spend any longer than 2 hours here, about 1 hour in monkies and 1 hour at kiddie playground/cafe. You can get very close to the monkies but you are not allowed any food or drink in the enclosure. I don't think it's worth travelling a great distance if you aren't localish.

Cheers folks, overall sounds positive enough to give it a go. Coming from solihull so not too much of a trek.
