Anyone been Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt?

Looking to go Sharm El Sheikh in June with my girlfriend nd my mate and his girl. We want somewhere where we can relax but also have the option to go out some nights and party.

My friend is unsure if its a good place for us. We are all around 21.

He is worried there wont be many bars/clubs to have fun and thinks its a place more to just relax?

Any tips or any other recommendations.

there's a pasha there (is that the right spelling?)

plenty of streetside bars/cafes which are great for people watching.

i really enjoyed my trip to sharm in the summer - plus i took the opportunity to visit cairo and the pyramids which i found to be fascinating.

as for not going in the sea, i would definitely go back in the sea because the sealife is incredible and it was the best diving/snorkelling i've ever done.

been 3 times its not that good for partying not really a clubing place , weather is amazing , you need to stay at a 5* hotel because the 5* hotels there are only 3* really so dont stay in a 3* or 4* .the savoy and baron parms are the best , if you stay in a cheap hotel the food will be awful and you will be on the loo all your stay.

I recommend this, stayed at the Reef Oasis (Great resort, beach is off the National Marine Reserve and you always get a space on the private beach!)... only a short ride away from Naama Bay (noisy and lively) so you get the best of both. Naama Bay has a Pascha and a Hard Rock cafe.

hi me and my partner went last year very hot, if you been to turkey and like it its like that on the streets they are pests, and same at the hotel wanting money all the time, but i loved it but had to watch my wormen all the time cause when you go to the bar or move away they there chatting them up etc, as for the pubs there some they warn you not to walk alone but found it was ok wanted to go cario but 170 pounds each some things are cheap but when you in a shop they dont like you to come out with no thing and can be very very rude
but another than that i loved it
hope it helps

I didn't think they could actually be as bad as they looked. I'd actually quite like to see them myself (I just wish they weren't in Egypt :()

been twice and depending on who you ask there are clubs believe me! Stayed at The Marriott in Hurghada and The Sheraton on the Nile at Luxor both excellent all round and would recommend both these chains.

like I said depends who you ask, I'm not speculating, there is some serious clubbing if you ask the right people, but that is just my experience.
