Can anyone tell me what is the best resort to stay in Tenerife ?

Something close to Siam Park?? as i do not want to hire a car

Also how far is loro parque, jungle park
aqualand
boat cruise
quad park

to eachother as i want to travel to all of them?

I also want to purchase the ultimate park ticket at Siam, but dont know if i have to visit all the park in one day or does my ticket last for a certain ammount of days?

we were in Tenerife last May - and bought all our tickets from stalls down by the beach in Los Christianos as cheaper. We to Siam Park and had the BEST TIME EVER!!! We stayed in a place called Golf de Sur but you can get to most of these places within an hour or two tops.

Loro parque was incredible - you can get a joint ticket for the parks also - but DONT BUY FROM YOUR HOTEL. They are much more expensive despite what they might tell you

p.s the ultimate ticket am pretty sure lasts for 48 hours
p.p.s aqualand isnt anything like Siam Park - wouldnt bother with that one

The TITSA buses are very good and you can virtually get everywhere on them

yes there are loads of free buses taking you to Siam Park and most of the other parks. Siam Park has a website - have u checked out the tickets on that. You will absolutely love it. My son was ten last year and I went on all of them mad terrfying water rides with him but I had the time of my life loooool and all he kept shouting after each water ride was "mum you've got a wedgey" :w00t:

thanks for the site, i have had a look but just a little confused. So if i plan to stay at the villa mandi resort, how do i get to the parks? do i have to make my own way on a taxi or something?

So villa mandi > siam park
and return back to my resort again?

Is there a bus station at each resort that takes you to the parks? please shed some light as i really want to go but have no idea how to get to and from each park to my resort (hotel) thanks again

Id say the best place to stay is Los Cristianos which has some fantastic beaches right beside it, like this one in the link below, Las Vistas which is a large stretch of beach where Los Cristianos joins Playa de las Americas therefore giving you quieter bars and restaurants in LC and more lively bars and clubs in PDLA.

Id avoid Costa del silencio as the name suggests it is very very quiet and you will find yourself travelling every day and night to find some life.

Been to tenerife 12 times, stayed in a few resorts and many hotels and apartments, and it is fantastic, would recommend to anyone.

i would agree with Jase - Los Christianos is a great place to stay. You see bus stop all over the place saying FREE BUS SIAM PARK and also for other parks. Again, what Jase said about Las Americas - mega busy but if you stay at Los Christianos then your quite near it plus great watersports also there. We done the banana rides, the parascending (major wedgey there!) and also the doughnuts. Really good. Loads of boat trips you can book - but make sure you do that down by the beach where once again its cheaper

I went this time last year, and stayed in Playa de Las Americas. There was an option of a free bus to Siam Park but I got a taxi instead, Aqualand is all but dead now, and Loro Parque was on the other side of the island if I remember correctly..

Just had a look through all the above and lots of helpful stuff- just a quick question if anyone can answer, then thay would be ace:

Going to tenerife on the 17th of next month with the missus (we're 25)- what's the better option pdla or cristianos?

Interested in beach, pool, relatively easily available nightlife AND cost, without being a dump.

It's a toss-up between apartments california and comodoro? Has anyone been to either?
