Thinking of taking the kids tomorrow and just wondered if it's worth the trip??

Thanks x

My daughter went there at age 12, she liked it. I just asked her if it would be ok for younger kids, she looked at me like I was asking her how to split an atom. lol +

We've been to the one near Melton Mowbray and our daughters, 3 & 7, loved it, especially the older one. The younger one didn't like the bigger rides but there was still plenty to keep her occupied and we've been a couple of times as we find it really good value for money.

If you are visiting the same park and live close by (we live in Lincoln which is just under an hour away) then instead of getting a family ticket tomorrow, go to the Reception (you'll probably see signs advertising this) as you can get a multi-park ticket for £50. For the 4 of us to get in TwinLakes it was going to be £36 but if you pay £50 you get a ticket that will let 4 people into 3 different parks in Leicestershire (only one time per park though, you can't go to Twinlakes 3 times). I can't remember them all but the ones I can remember are Conkers, Twycross Zoo and the National Space Centre, to be used by June next year, which is considerably better value than buying them all separately.

Totally recommended, also take a picnic as they have loads of inside tables and welcome people bringing their own food, although they do sell food aswell if you'd rather do this, but it saves you a bit more money.

Your kids will love it, my sons are 3 and 8 and they have year passes, the youngest never tires of it, every weekend he asks if he can go!

Good for adults too. :)

Well we went yesterday and it was fab! Kids had a brilliant time and they could go on pretty much all of the rides. My daughter 6 is a bit of a thrill seeker so she loved it!

They had free pumpkin carving too which we bought home ready for halloween.

We will deffo be going again!

Thanks for all the replies xx
