Before a bid is placed on an item, if the seller has a buy it now price, this is displayed but once a bid has been placed, then the bidding will run it course, even though the final price might be higher than the sellers asking buy it now price. Good for the seller if the item ends at a higher price , bad if it ends at a lower price.

well it was hugo boss if you call that carp?? but my point was to start off with there was no option to buy it now originally.

suit off ebay, thats bad. oh it will be fake anyway, best bet is to get the Armani ones, (go into a store first to get the exact fit) it's fake as is everything off ebay, but if that's what you want. it is crazy the amount of fake goods on there and most people wouldn't have a clue..........that's not to say paying high prices for designer goods is worth it, it's not, but just saying.

Did you place first bid?

if not then the first bid cancels the buy it now

hi thnx for all the responses but the gentlemen just emailed me.- listed the item initially with a BIN price of £69.99. However, a buyer then purchased the suit at this price, and then decided not to pay (and I now have a non-paying buyer dispute raised against them).
I relisted the item, but in error set the BIN price to 54.99 (as I was selling another item at this price). I altered the listing almost immediately, but imagine that on the msn listing you found it possibly displayed the errored price.
I consider it closed now as i originally thought i was going gaga
