I have to rant;

I absolutely hate my neighbours, I know hate is a strong word but seriously - I can't stand them.

They are benefit scroungers, she has never worked in her life and just keeps popping out children (I believe they are up to six now) and he is a complete moron who thinks he is a "hard man", he doesn't work either and the very few occasions he has worked he has been sacked or quit after a matter of weeks.

They have no respect for anyone else, playing loud music throughout the day, screaming and swearing constantly at each other and their children. They have threatened various families around here, including mine, for no apparent reason - it has actually gotten to the stage where I find myself becoming increasingly paranoid regarding them, such as not even wanting to go out at the weekend in case anything kicks off them I am not here.

Does anyone else live near absolutely morons?

Nahh all my neighbours are good :-D , APART from the one that lives in a private area behind our garden , shes a right old bitch. She reported us for making a shed WTF!!!, Then she complained about dust going into the private area ( how else are you meant to cut out kitchen pieces. Furthermore she complained cos our tree branch was going slightly over the fence.

Morons or Mormons? Or both??

Thankfully i have neither :-D

The guy next door makes a lot of noise, some days i can hardly hear myself drilling....

Sounds like MarzBarz's neighbours have bad neighbours.......... :whistling: :p

Honestly though mine are pretty good, there's one behind who played music and shouted loads throughout the summer. Only been here about 7 weeks though, so it's early days i suppose!!
#4
All my other neighbours are fine, it is just them.
#5
Aww poor u hun, they sound awful!! Would hate to feel like that in my own home. We are very lucky and get on really well with ours. I don't know wot to suggest tho I'm afraid.....other than talking to the but soehow I can;t imagine they'll py any attention:roll:

I live in a detached house, its quite big, no neighbors

my house is in the middle, and i have like 6ackhers around it of land.

#7
Our neighbours are the worst. They keep coming round & drinking all our booze. Mind you we retaliate by going round & drinking all theirs!
This feud could last a while...
#8
You have my sympathy kimbyanne - I just have barking dogs livin' nextdoor and they own pets too !

Maybe you could have a quiet word with environmental health, speak to other neighbours and see if they will do the same !

LOL no way, we all get along send food over etc, exchange gifts when its festivals.

We own 3 houses on the same road lmao.
#10
Mines think they own the street !!
They reported our two dogs to the police as 'large and dangerous' beause the dog s bark when someone comes to OUR door.....My advice to you is to totally ignore them, they deserve much worse but just blank the freaks !!
banned#11
have you spoken to environment health ? and what sort of house do your neighbours live in , private? rented ? council etc ?
#12
So....The 'right' way....have you informed your local council/ police/ housing people? All of them should be able to help with matters........OR -The 'wrong' way ......find out who IS the local hardman and bung him a few quid to have a word;-)
#13
We have tried talking to them, they are ok for a few weeks but are soon back to their old ways.

Unfortunately it gets worse when they have friends round, then they act like idiots - which is why I don't like going out at weekends.

Wow your neigbours sound just like mine!
she is a single mother with two children constantly playing loud music, we have had her children throw eggs & flour all over our windows, always outside the house shouting & arguing with other neighbours, I walk outside my own home & I get constant abusive from her, when I reported it to the police they went round had a word & they came back to mine & she had told them I had been racist to her!! total nonsense, A family a few doors up have moved away because she caused that much trouble for them apparently she got someone to smash there kitchen window 3 times the police couldn't do anything because they had no evidence. she drives me crazy!

I hate my neighbours as they moan constantly that I make too much noise! I dont, but they are mental. They moan about us walking around house, closing doors, closing cupboards etc. They have put a letter through my letterbox and also the b**** came out of her house shouting abuse when I went and got in my car the other week to go out. She is mental

we had a letter, sent through the actual post with the words " Woof, Woof, Bark, Bark, Keep Your Dogs Indoors, Woof, Woof, Bark, Bark " scribbled on a piece of paper a few years ago!

I laughed out very very loud.

my mum lives next door to some asylum seekers who play live music morning, noon and night . So one day my stepdad went round to ask them to keep it down and 3 heavys came out and beat him up. He thought i'm not gonna hit back i'm gonna have them charged for this, well the police came and arestted all of them, stepdad included. No charges were brought as there was 9 in there house 2 in my mums none of which were inderpendent witnesses. My stepdad was not a very pretty sight with 2 black eyes and a very swollen face and brusing all down his body. Got to love the brittish justice.
Now they stand outside with a new motor every week and they are the scaryest sight ever none of the men must weigh less than 16st and the women look like men in drag.

I hinted at my neighbour to keep theirs indoors (I didnt write that note honest), as they were barking all bloody night. :x

Thankfully they keep em indoors now.

Score 1 for consideration.

surely not for calling them the M word ?
#25
do you live in a council property or private?

if its council then ask to be moved if its not then just move elsewhere when the lease is up

you aint gonna get anywhere trying to reason with this kind of person and you will more likely than not suffer in other areas of your life because of the addded stress/pressure of being helpless to do anything about it

move quick, move now or forever be a prisoner in your own home

or make friends with em and see who can get the biggest pile of crap in the back yard

bizzare  after all we are all grown ups, ok most are, nothing like giving the swear filter a bit of abuse now & again.

but on a serious note though, i feel for you with your neighbours from hell, theres nothing worse then feeling a prisoner in your own home. if they are council tenants, i would start keeping a diary & then present it to the local housing association.

I have this weird neighbour, she never seems to go out at weekends and spends most of her time tapping away on her computer. It's driving me and the wife mad, plus it really annoys the 6 kids we have.

Her constant tapping on her keyboard (walls are paper thin) keeps us awake late in the evening and means me and the wife constantly argue during the day as we're tired. I've lost several jobs through the lack of sleep. We've tried playing the music loud during the day to drown out the constant tapping of her keyboard but that doesn't work well.

Any advice would be welcome, I've managed to sort other neighbours by 'having a word' but this one lives right next door and is making our lives hell.

Cut her net off.

We live in private land. And theres one family who always keeps disrupting our view. They constructed an eyesore of a shed and know we are inclined to see bricks in our gardens. And they are always doing some building work, and cutting wood pieces etc and the dust always blows towards us.
cut her net off. Although they always are improving their home, they remain ignorant that there tree is falling over to our garden.

i do dread the day when she finally kicks the bucket and someone else buys the house.

My neighbours are utter twits (except the i needs replacing with an a !!)

They let their 7 year old do whatever he wants both in the house and out. You hear him swearing away at his parents and they don't say a thing about it. I've heard him screaming pretty much every swear word there is, and she retaliates by screaming even worse ones back at him !! Then his mates come round, who seem to be a bit older, and there's 4-5 little idiots running around playing 'lets throw stones at each other', which inevitably end up hitting other peoples properties and cars. His parents see this going on and don't say a word to him !!

They were chucking this heavy duty plastic toy around the other day, and after the 3rd time they'd hit my car, I went out and asked them to play with it somewhere else and the mother was stood on the doorstep just watching them, no apology for hitting my car again :w00t:

I am being funny. ;-)

I really do have terrible neighbours but rather than moan on here I've decided to kill them and make it look like an accident. I just need to work out what part of the front of their house my car will go through the easiest.
