anyone got epilepsy or get partial seizures??
Now I'm gona get slagged for puttin life story on here tonight but soooo... :)
Only a few days ago I woke up in hospital after taking a seizure/fit.. I took it in my sleep!!!! Woke up in hospital on a trolley in a corridor.... This was a few days after my missus got injured in an assault so they are saying it cud have been brought on by stress....
The day leading up to it I kept getting intense feelings if de ja vu and feeling very odd..... I had never taken one before..... Hospital took ecg and brain scan all normal but doctor has put me off work for month as I can not go back to work until I see a neurologist in like 3 weeks..... It is not epilepsy until you have more than one seizure....

The hospital didnt give much advice thats for the neurologist to give me soooo kind if intrigued as to why I keep getting the feeling that stuff all seems soooo different to me now like clearer or something but I can't shut my brain down tonight even tho I'm wrecked :)
Could have had something to do with the not eating.
I can't shut my brain down tonight, think it's all the storms around where I live. lots of thunder tonight
All calm here in northern Ireland
can develop at any age. just one of those things. but hopefully it was just a one off.
still scary
he had a massive seizure just before chrimbo which killed him! :( he was 27
when you first experience someone having a fit it really is a little scary.....people dont know what to do and most people panic.....all you can do is make sure there is nothing nearby that they could hurt themselves on.
seems a few members deem it acceptable to mock people with disabilities and learning problems
Stay safe. I also knew someone very well who died due to their epilepsy. She had a seizure in the bath. If it is epilepsy for you, get plenty of sleep and avoid stress. Although with the latter it's not like you look for it, it usually finds you. Also, read up on how to safety advice.
His dad was downstairs and heard Neil laughing from time to time. Suddenly he heard Neil laughing very loudly and then a crashing sound on the floor. No more laughter.
He went upstairs and Neil was on the floor, having suffered a fit and then falling off his bed.
He was unconcious and rushed to hospital where he recovered. They believe the excessive laughing had brought on the fit. He was.ok within days but not allowed to drive for a set period of time which was sad as he had got a jeep for his birthday.
I new him for several years after and he never had another seizure so I guess it was a one off and hopefully yours will be too.
