Ours is just a kenwood one where you freeze the bowl, rather than one with its own freezer and the results are great, really nice creamy soft ice cream a quick simple one is mix a small pot of whipping cream with 2-3 cheap tesco yogurts and a couple of spoons castor sugar and pour in, 10 minutes later its done!
We picked ours up in a somerfield sale at a fiver but they are around £20 normally!

Really worth it too one mixing does us all 2 x Adults and 2 x kids and they enjoy making it too!

In which case this works out more expensive than most supermarket Ice Creams a nice strawberry one will work out about £2 for half litre!
Its not a cheap option but taste wise its outstanding!
