Sold mine few weeks back at £1.23pps (1042)
bought again last week at 91pps

Upto you what you are willing to do with them
but there is a shareholder deal coming up soon
with the offer of even more cheap shares

Look here

Hi i have a few thousand shares i bought last week if you were me would you hold onto them and go for the deal and if so how many of the new shares would i get or offload at best price.I am still new to all this so any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

any good sites where you can buy shares from and where u can sell them at?
#6
I am also new to this, but i have asked lots of questions about it, i would certainly hold onto them and buy your full qouta of 38p shares, you can buy about 63% of your current holding (possibly even more)..... it is a no-brainer...... buy them and soon as you are allowed to sell them, sell them.........profit, profit, profit

Ditto, Lloyds Share Dealings is probably the easiest you can use, for UK Markets anyhow, for US you have to fill in a declaration, which will take a few weeks minimum to set up.

If you brought have Lloyds shares over a £1.00 per share, then that's pretty high, I can't see the market in Banking going too much higher than it already is.

The Market's gone up so much lately i'm expecting a downfall, some time soon ;)

I use Hoodless Brennan, its only £8 per deal to sell or buy,(£6.50p after certain amount of trades)
the web site has been down a few times lately, thats my only gripe,
but thats the good old internet for you i guess,

Didnt mind too much,as the shares went higher during the time the site went down:whistling:

Ive set a Isa Acct with them as well, so at least any profit i make
is going to be tax free and Capital Gains Tax free as well :-)

Its just the share readjusting itself,(dilution)
same thing happens when there is a rights issue,

Trouble is if you sold yesterday, then you wouldnt get the entitlement to
the special Lloyds share price coming up soon, but you could of made a few quid
as well if you did sell yesterday, either way.

That drop was expected by most s/h i think.....it is a volitile market..
