Anyone growing there own this year??

I have been growing a strawberry plant since April/May and have had lots of strawberries from it but now it has stopped growing strawberries and started to grow stinging nettles....

Has anyone had any similar experiences? Should I remove the stinging nettles?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Looks quite comprehensive - and yes, remove the stingers as they will be taking water and nutrients from the soil that your strawbs will need.

And try this site too - click through to the next pages too... http://www.gardenaction.co.uk/fruit_veg_diary/fruit_veg_mini_project_february_2_strawberry.asp

Like most plants from seed, get 100 seeds for about £1.50 on the bay, produces a plant about 5 foot tall and each one produces around 50g of baccy (cured weight), growings easy its the curing thats supposed to be hard, first attempt this year, if it doesnt work so be it as you can make a nicotine tea that is a natural insecticide.
