No but I might go see it at the weekend after reading your post! The Purge was brilliant, went to see that last weekend.

Yeah just got back from seeing it myself. Took my daughter as it's her birthday today, we enjoyed it.

Not really fussed about this but may give it a try now. Saw Hercules yesterday and that was a lot better than we expected

My husband wants to see Hercules, wasn't there another one out a few months ago? Im sure it had very bad reviews. Would you recommend this version?

Hercules was pants (come on, it's a 'Rock' film), but it was better than expected. Kind of enjoyable.

Guardians of the Galaxy... I wasn't expecting much, as I'm not really into comics and Marvel and things like that, but I got a free ticket to go yesterday. I absolutely loved it! The humour was sarcastic, silly, or edgy enough for me to hit the spot most of the time (like the black light joke). The soundtrack's great. It's very tongue in cheek, but it's the best film in this kind of Marvel/Sci Fi/doesn't take itself seriously genre that I've seen in ages. Best thing to come out of Hollywood that I've seen this year. :)

The thing that I hope though (and I'm sure you will agree on this) is that Vin Diesel gets an oscar for his performance as Groot. Truly mind blowing and his range of dialogue almost bought a tear to my eye, almost. :p

Vin Diesel was Groot?!? :D Groot was my favourite character. :) I hear Bradley Cooper was in it too somewhere - maybe the little furry thing? I couldn't work out who played Drax or Ronin. S'pose I should take a look at IMDB. The only people I recognised were Zoe Saldana and Chris wotshisname 'Star Lord', and I've got no idea where I've even seen Chris (Pratt?) before either.

Seen it on 31st July.

Well everything is awesome. Probably to me one of the best Marvel films so far. I'd never heard of the series, however this is a great yarn and has all the ingredients in just about the right level action, romance, cheesey one liners, good baddies and goodies and finally a great soundtrack, full marks from me, highly recommended.

The sound track was awesome man, Quill has such a great taste in music, David Bowie AND The Jackson 5!? Hell yeah!

I loved all the Footloose and Kevin Bacon jokes too and Uhar..I mean Gamora embracing it towards the end. Funniest scene in the film has to be the random dance distraction Quill does against Ronan, just comes out of nowhere and had me in hysterics!

Chris Pratt was in Everwood & OC on TV as well as playing Emmett in Lego Movie, although doubt you saw him in that lol. he seems to be the go to guy at the moment he is going to be In Jurassic World & Knight Rider.
