First time I've had this, but have checked up and seen it's all legit, but how long does it usually take to go through and what exactly is an eCheque?

An e-cheque is a kind of direct debit to Paypal from your buyers bank. If a buyer does not have a Credit Card, they can pay sellers via Paypal with a bank transfer/direct debit.
My last one took 10 days to clear. Do NOT send the item until you receive another email from Paypal telling you it has cleared.

The last one I sent took around 5 to 7 days to clear.

they are when the sender pays straight from their bank account to Paypal, so in effect a bank transfer. This usually happens when they dont have a credit card listed or not enough funds in their Paypal account to cover the purchase.

Still - dont send the item out until it has cleared as it still has the oppurtunity to be rejected

(edit: Dino beat me to it - lol)

Wow I didnt think I was blonde.....:giggle:

First I thought you were talking about me, dimissed that one
Then I spent ages looking for threads where you or I had posted where Browni was the author - not even realsing you meant this one! pmsl

Ungrateful people will soon realise that the next time they post help threads people like you and me may not be so quick and forthcoming with information that could save them tons of time and agro!:whistling:

Manners cost nothing, help costs us time which we could spend helping others.....
Need I say more?

Thanks for the comments.

Little advice though, be patient when waiting for the praise you seem to be seeking for every character written in the forum.

This post was the last post I typed before shutting the lid on the laptop and sodding off to bed, so I have absolutely no idea why the activity was there and I only saw these answers this morning (as in, now).

Next time people ask for advice, just don't bother if you feel that way. Sure there's someone out there not checking your every activity on the forum waiting for some kind of recognition.

OK, I apologise, I didn't realise you had 'gone'.
I/we don't want 'praise' as such, just acknowledgement that you read the post and you found it helpful. :whistling:
It gets disheartening when you go to the trouble to help somebody and you never hear from that person again. Have a look on the 'Deal Request' Forum, you will see lots of posters asking for something, you go to the trouble of finding the widget and posting it or asking them questions and you never see them again. :-( :-(

Ditto:thumbsup:

Looked to us like you had been around for ages, read the replys, then did one:roll:

Btw the whole thing wasnt directed just at you, its a continuation of another conversation me and Dino were having about the attitudes of some posters in general - just so happened that it landed on this thread:oops:

It can be very frustrating when people only come here to take from the community and never to give back.
