Just wondering really if Nokia are a bit 'mean' when it comes to fixing phones under warranty.
I gave my phone to Phones4U to send to Nokia this week but am worried they will try and get out of fixing it by blaming the faults on me or something?
I got the phone unlocked when I first got it and, although the phone worked perfectly until about 4/5 months later, I thought this may be a good enough reason (in their eyes) for them to not fix it?
The phone is a 5800 and it started freezing up. Firstly, I could no longer use the internet on it cos it would just freeze, then this graudated to the phone also freezing on a white screen at least once every day or 2 after I had made a call (I would have to remove the battery to restart it) and then it stopped playing my mp3s as well - it would show them playing but no noise would play.
This seems like a software problem to me so this is why I am worried. I also have a few apps installed on it, though none of them were newly installed when these problems started occuring.
Can anyone ese please share their experiences with Nokia warranty repairs?
